This Major extends your technical and visual abilities through fine-tuning of film exposure, development techniques and printmaking. We will investigate various films, developers and papers that enable you to create penetrating, expressive imagesincluding handcrafted, archival silver gelatin prints. We will discuss the ideas of artists and thinkers in all disciplines and museum. Gallery trips will play an important role. The business component of this course sequence will focus on the construction and presentation of a portfolio to those clients, galleries, collectors and other exhibitor venues.
