Renting Facilities and Equipment at NESOP
NESOP rents space in its digital imaging lab (provided the renter has taken a class in NESOP’s digital imaging classrooms or lab), studios and traditional darkrooms--both Black & White and Color printing facilities are available, as well as developing areas for Black & White film. It is advised that renters call ahead for digital lab availability, studio availability and to reserve individual color printing rooms. NESOP rents on a per-day basis; a day consists of:
Facilities at 537 Commonwealth Ave: B&W and Color Darkrooms, Studios
Sunday - Friday 8:00am - 11:15pm
Saturday - 8:00am - 7:30pm Facilites at 650 Beacon St: Digital Imaging, Digital Printing and Scanning Sunday - 10:00am - 11:00pm Monday - Friday 9:00am - 11:00pm Saturday - 10:00am - 7:00pm (One full day is the smallest time slot available to rent (no 1/2 days, per hour, etc.)
Rental rates are as follows: Darkrooms and Labs:
$75 for one day
$115 for two days
$150 for three days
$300 for seven days
Studios:
$75 for one time slot (3 hours)
$115 for two time slots (6 hours)
$150 for three time slots (9 hours)
(studio discount applies only to time slots reserved within the same rental day) *Please note that studio rentals are only available during the summer months (June through September).
Rentals may be paid for in the form of cash or check (Sorry - NESOP does not accept credit cards) at the Main Office between 9:00am – 5:00pm. Evening and Weekend rentals may be paid at NESOP's Stockroom in the form of a check. Students in the Professional Photography Programs are offered a 20% discount on rental rates for one year after their date of graduation.
