Also located in the main facility at 537 Commonwealth Avenue are individual shooting bays that are adjustable to allow for use in shooting product and table-top assignments as well as portraits. In addition, there are three private portrait studios fully equipped with Photogenic lighting and accessories for shooting portraits or fashion.

The school's Digital Support Lab is located on the 3rd floor of the main building, equipped with Macintosh G4 computers, 19-inch Lacie monitors and Epson and Hewlett-Packard printers. This lab exists to provide digital support—including downloading, archiving and Internet access—to all NESOP students.   All buildings on the NESOP campus are connected via a wireless high-speed T1 connection.  The Digital Support Lab houses NESOP's library, containing various photographic resources including periodicals and photography books.  Rare books and videos are kept in a secured location; access is offered to students upon the Dean of Students' approval.

This building also contains the school's fully equipped stockroom, six private 4x5 film-processing rooms and three gang darkrooms. NESOP is proud of the fact that, along with updating its facilities and equipment to offer the newest imaging technology (digital), it still finds value in offering traditional (analog/film) printing facilities.
